The old saying – you learn something new every day certainly applies to me when it comes to allergies. We were at a friend’s house for dinner this weekend and the hostess wanted to serve Melba Toast with hummus. She asked me if Melba Toast was nut free. It is a product that we have eaten over the years, but not since we learned about my daughter’s nut allergy so I actually had no idea what the ingredients were.  I checked the package and…

…to my surprise and great delight, Melba Toast is baked in a nut free/peanut free facility. However, unlike many other Dare products that display a peanut free symbol, this product does not say anything. It was only upon reading the fine print that I was able to learn this information. So, to the marketing team at Dare, why not include the peanut free symbol on Melba Toast? I was so happy to learn about this great product and I know there are many other parents out there like me who would appreciate the knowledge as well!
