Gluten Free Candy Companies

Nancy Lapid who writes for about.com recently added Sees Candies to her list of gluten free candy manufacturers.

I was first introduced to Sees by my grandmother who always had a great supply of them in her candy jar. It often amazed me that no matter how many my brother and I either ate or stuffed in our pockets, inevitably the next time we visited the jar would be full again.  

Nancy reminds us (as does AllergySense) that as with all products, individuals should contact the company directly with any questions about food allergens as manufacturing facilities change, ingredients are modified and equipment may change as well. However, lists are a good starting place. Check out this one for some gluten free candy makers – each company has a phone number.
