Delicious nut free desserts

This weekend was my daughter’s 4th birthday. Every parent says that time flies and I concur. We had the whole family and a few friends over to celebrate. After all, you only turn 4 once! 

I decided to order dessert from a new nut free bakery called 2 Moms Bakery. I spoke with the owner Caroline, and she suggested a complete dessert platter consisting of brownies, cupcakes, blondies, lemon squares, mini cheesecake bites, cookies and a few other delicious sounding items.  She said it would be a great way for people to choose what they wanted instead of just offering one or two options. I also ordered mini cupcakes for my daughter’s camp group.

When I picked up the platter, everything looked delicious but I knew the true test would be to see the reaction of a) my dad and husband with the lemon squares and b) my grandmother with the blondies.

The desserts passed with flying colors. They were extremely delicious and at the end of the evening, there were none left! 2 Moms Bakery creates custom orders for any occasion including deserts and treats of any kind, cakes, cupcakes, individually wrapped cookies and more. Everything we sampled was great.
