New Products For People With Food Allergies

What a great day at the Natural Products Expo in Anaheim, CA. Although my feet and back are killing me and I feel like I could spend 2 hours in a jacuzzi bath, I am so pumped about the great allergy friendly businesses that I met with today.  Whether you have a gluten allergy, nut allergy, egg allergy, peanut allergy or are simply searching for delicious allergy friendly foods – keep reading! There are so many great companies making delicious products. Here are just a few I wanted to share with you – more to follow:

Udi’s Gluten Free Foods - These delicious Double Chocolate muffins were moist and delicious and left us wanting not just the sample, but the WHOLE thing!

Snikiddy – love this company. Their products are simply crunchy and yummy. They have a new baked fries products (available in 4 flavors) that are made in a peanut free and tree nut free facility. One serving of 28g is 130 calories and 4.5g fat.

Bakery On Main – This company recently received two new certifications including gluten free production and kosher parve and recently launched a high fibre solution for celiacs called the New Gluten Free Fiber Power Granola.

Organic Bistro – We tried the gluten free Chicken Citron – a delicious and savory combination of organic edamame, natural vegetarian-fed cooked chicken breast and organic cooked quinoa. These products are found in the frozen food aisle.

Organic Food Bar – this line of organic, gluten free, lactose free, peanut free and dairy free products are known to many as THE premium lifestyle food bar – available in Belgium Chocolate Chip, Cranberry and many other flavors, these bars had many people talking.

22days – this great new company offers vegan bars made with raw and organic superfoods – They are also gluten free, dairy free and soy free and are available in Cherry Chocolate Bliss, Daily Mocha Mantra, Enlightened Pumpkinseed and more great flavors.

Mary’s Gone Crackers – I have loved this company since I tried their delicious flax crackers. Now, the company is making gluten free, wheat free organic cookies. We tried the “N’Oatmeal” Raisin (without oats!)

Enjoy Life Foods - We can’t say enough great things about the allergy friendly foods made by this company. Their newest products currently called “Crunch” is a delicious, crispy snack – a great addition to their product line. People with food allergies were flocking the booth to try this great new product. Not yet named or packaged, stay tuned for great new information from Enjoy Life Foods.

Pamela’s - The white chocolate gluten free cheesecake was turning many heads and bringing many people back for seconds.

Balance – At first we didn’t recognize these bars as their packaging has changed. The new look is crisp and fresh with the same great taste. The Balance Pure line is gluten free and consists of Cherry Pecan, Berry Berry Chia and Chocolate Cashew.

Kettle Cuisine – these delicious soups are sure to please food lovers. We tried many flavors – a true favorite is the Roasted Vegetable Soup. Bursting with lots of flavor and veges, this one warmed our hearts (and stomachs).

method - this line of cleaning products can be found throughout the homes of many people we know. The company has introduced a new line of laundry detergent (including fragrance free) which is presented in a revolutionary pump bottle. For more info, check out methodlaundry.

Orgran – The new Shortbread Hearts are simply divine. Whether you have food allergies or not, you’ll want to try these. They are gluten free an dairy free and sure to make your taste buds smile!

Falafel Chips - these chips are delish! They are crunchy and tasty in addition to being vegan, gluten free, dairy free, nut free and kosher.

Healthy Times – Mother owned since 1980, this company knows about baby food and baby care. The line of baby foood is soy free, dairy free and nut free and the line of baby food dinners are gluten free.

Organicville – This line of organic, gluten free, vegan products are quickly becoming a household name. Recently launched were the non-dairy thousand island organic dressing, 3 mustards (dijon, yellow mustard and stone ground) and Original Pasta Sauces. As with all of their products, there is no sugar added and they taste delicious.

Nana’s Cookie Company - these cookie bites are sooo good people were going back for 3rds and 4ths…Gluten free, dairy free, egg free, the bites are available in 3 gluten free flavors – ginger spice, lemon dreams and fudge.

Schar – known for their gluten free products, this company launched a new product called Chocolate O’s – a round-shaped delicious sandwich cookie. Even those who don’t live a gluten free lifestyle could be heard saying “Yum”.

We hope you enjoy learning about these companies and products – we had great fun meeting the people who work there and trying their new products.
